American Bantam/American Austin - Hi! Sam from McLean's Brit Bits here - I have just unearthed a really cool find! 4 complete cars and sheet metal for a 5th. This collection of projects has been in excellent dry storage since 1975! 1st car is a Rare 1940 American Bantam 4 seat roadster which Hal Thompson thought may be a one-off prototype built for the US government in hopes of winning a contract. This car has had the body work work done and all of the mechanicals rebuilt, just waiting for fit, finish, upholstry and assembly. Included are a 1935 American Austin 2 door Sedan, a 1938 American Bantam 2 door Roadster and a 1939 American Bantam 2 door Sedan. All three cars are in what looks to me to be very good condition - the bodies are all down to bare metal, putting them back together and the final finish will be required. There is also a body shell with all the rest of the cars sheet metal. Many boxes of parts, gauges(some redone) 4 boxes of re-chromed and re-nickled parts. These projects are ready and waiting to be completed - I don't know much about the American Austin or Bantam but this lot is fantastic. The owner is asking $20,000.00 or make an offer and I'll be glad to pass it along. I do have some pictures I'll be happy to email, give me a call 603-433-0001

'73MGB with SnugTop PVC Hard top, Burgandy red/Black interior with new carpet inside and trunk. Both seats in good shape. All instruments work and has a dash overlay installed. This car is a one owner before me and has the original engine in it which runs and drives perfectly. SU carbs were recently overhauled and new fuel pump installed.
